Base Command Unit

Base Command Unit (BCU) is an essential component to building a base and marks ownership of that base to the player who places it.

The primary BCU will generate up to 500 power and 100 mass at a rate of 0.33 electricity and 0.07 mass per second

To produce more, players must generate their own through other means; such as a Generator, solar Panel, Wind Turbine, Mass Fabricator and Recycler.

There are also base items that allow you to store power and mass respectively.

Usage

Place the BCU on a wall to claim an area to build your base. This will be marked on the players screen, constantly giving the player it's location in the map. This feature can be turned off.

They have a range (shown by a blue sphere when trying to place certain items), beyond which no BCU equipment, such as the Bed, can be placed.

• The range can be extended by crafting a BCU Range Extender somewhere within the blue sphere of the BCU this will create a new blue sphere extended off of the initial one.

Once a BCU is placed, if Hunters are enabled, they will shortly soon build bases around the player.

Interface

The "Craft" tab has all the recipes available to see. These recipes take power and mass to craft.
Note: Recipes will show a lock if there are requirements that have not been met yet. Once those requirements are fulfilled then the recipe becomes available.

The "Players" tab shows Base Players and All Players. You can add teammates (allies) to your Base Player list. This will allow them to access both any machines/storage and allow them to build/move/upgrade your base building pieces.

The "Stats" tab allows you to see what base items either use or generate power.

• You can sort by either power or mass.

Craft the Base Command Unit in your Inventory under the Building tab.
