The proper way to prepare your Salmon Fillet is to cook it in either a Campfire or Woodburner.

Most food starts raw and cooks in stages:

Salmon Fillet (Cooked)
Salmon Fillet (Burnt)

There is a possibility that you can be Infected by eating raw meats. If this is the case the only way to cure yourself is with a Basic Antidote.
